Boulder would be no great loss to this state, in all honesty. It is awful purdy, though. Seriously, I hope no more people lose their lives or homes to this mess.

Rained like a son of a bitch for a few days out here on the Western side of the state. It's eased up within the last 2 days, but we were lucky. I live less than 5 miles of the Colorado River, and am so grateful that it held within it's banks.

Glad to hear that you have come through it in tact. It is scary. I honestly didn't even consider how lucky we were to not be flooded until after I saw the devastation in Boulder.

We've got a big slug of water making it's way down the Rio Grande this AM. Supposed to crest a couple inches over flood stage. Flow is approx. 10,000 cu. ft. per second right now.

Colorado is fucked up. Roads washed out. Neighborhoods under water.

We got the normal rainfall amount for an entire year in four days.
 
Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Sand in my shoes for weeks afterwards.

Also, I left a half-dollar there for someone to find a few thousand years from now.
 
More likely, shit that happens when you fuck with mother nature or don't pay attention to her.
