College Campus Controversy Over Bottled Water Ban

They're banning small water bottles in national parks, too. Did you not notice or just not care?

The bad news is the little snot nosed punks will now be forced to drink Mountain Dew instead of water.

I have a medium sized bottle that I fill with ice and water before I venture out.

Colorado still has good tap water unlike most of the cesspools you fuckers live in.

I believe you can still import all the small plastic water bottles you want into the Park. You just have to pack out the empties.

Its funny the things they ban. Next it will be cotton underware. I am not sure what for, but I am sure they will find something wrong with them.

We didn't have bottled water in college. We had water fountains. Kids today are so spoiled.

You've either lived a very sheltered life or you only consult sources that you know are going to support your political views. I say that with affection, seriously. I'm not being judgmental, but your response here indicates a deep seated need to either avoid any consideration that the ban might be a good idea or that the people doing it have a reasonable motivation.

Consider what Off2Bed said. Consider what Pete said. Consider the fact that water bottles can be refilled with tap water damn near anywhere in the US quite safely.

Now tell me why anyone would actually think those little plastic bottles are a good idea.

She's a retard.

I carry a re-useable water bottle that has a charcoal filter in it.
My water is always clean and safe.
In a pinch, you can even filter an entire bottle of salt water and have clean, safe, drinkable water come out (although you can only do that once and then you have to replace the filter.)

There was a study done here recently where the CSIRO tested bottled water and found that the levels of bacteria were up to 100 times higher than from tap water. And it was across all brands, even Evian failed.

only over educated small minded dipshit who have yet to contribute to society still living off mommy and daddy and grants they probably will not pay back would make bottled water controversial.

The main question that is on their minds and others who are opposed: What happened to freedom of choice?

Do they mean... like freedom of choice to have an abortion?

What do you think? Is it right for a college administration to ban bottles?

Corporations can do whatever they want, They are people right?
why shouldn't a college administration have the same right.

It is all a matter of perspective.
