After my first story posted, Colleen was one of the first to email with me, and encourage me. She gave me great advice that has improved my writing since and was so very encouraging to me. My heart goes out to all of her friends and family, both online and off.

I can't trust myself to type anymore without making a fool of myself, so I'll rely on a couple of poems that I thought were appropriate. I'd like to think that she'd say this to us if she had the chance. We love you, Colly.
Remember
Christina Rossetti
Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you planned:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.
Song
Christina Rossetti
When I am dead, my dearest,
Sing no sad songs for me;
Plant thou no roses at my head,
Nor shady cypress tree:
Be the green grass above me
With showers and dewdrops wet;
And if thou wilt, remember,
And if thou wilt, forget.
I shall not see the shadows,
I shall not feel the rain;
I shall not hear the nightingale
Sing on, as if in pain:
And dreaming through the twilight
That doth not rise nor set,
Haply I may remember,
And haply may forget.
Thank you. Thank you for the time you spent here. Thank you for your sweetness and kindheartedness. Thank you for the helping hand and the incouragment. Thank you for the *HUSG* and the many many smiles on sad days. Thank you for caring. Thank you for being there and being so welcoming. Thank you for sharing your talent, your stories changed erotica for me, your skills as an author will always be beyond words for me.
I have been trying to come up with the words for the past two hours, but they are not coming easily. I don't know what to say: what can I say? No, there's nothing. If this were a cruel joke I would forgive the people who played it, just because I would be so happy that it wasn't true.
She was always wonderful to me and although I guess I never was very close with anyone on this part of the board (which is somewhat painfully driven home now), I am very saddened by this loss. My condolences to her loved ones, to her friends and family; it is a tremendous and terrible loss for everyone.
Nyényë. Inyë umin ista mana quetë. Vanyë pusta enyalië le. Namárië.
O Earth, lie heavily upon her eyes;
Seal her sweet eyes weary of watching, Earth;
Lie close around her; leave no room for mirth
With its harsh laughter, nor for sound of sighs.
She hath no questions, she hath no replies,
Hushed in and curtained with a blessed dearth
Of all that irked her from the hour of birth;
With stillness that is almost Paradise.
Darkness more clear than noon-day holdeth her,
Silence more musical than any song;
Even her very heart has ceased to stir:
Until the morning of Eternity
Her rest shall not begin nor end, but be;
And when she wakes she will not think it long.
Joey just told me about Colly. I am so very very saddened by this news.
Colly made everyone feel welcome. I don't post here very often but wanted to say that Colly you will be missed and offer my prayers to her loved ones and those at Lit, all at Lit.
"Smile" - Words by John Turner and Geoffrey Parsons and music by Charlie Chaplin
Smile though your heart is aching
Smile even though it’s breaking
When there are clouds in the sky, you’ll get by
If you smile through your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You’ll see the sun come shining through for you
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
That’s the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what’s the use of crying?
You’ll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just smile
