It is with great sadnesss that I mention the recent passing of a fine author and sometimes contributor to this forum, Colleen Thomas.

Knowing her just slightly, I was always impressed both with her spirit and her dedication to her craft, as evidenced in the research behind all of her stories. She had a great gift for story telling, and could incorporate character and human elements into erotic tales that made them rise above the genre.

I suggest people visit the threads in the Author's Hangout,

https://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=436479

but I'm leaving this thread open for any who wish to post here.

She will be sorely missed.

There is a memorial thread on the AH if anyone is interested as well. :rose:

Oh my God.

I corresponded with her and had no idea.

This is a huge loss.

I really need to go for awhile.

The little I knew about her, I really liked. She was one I would have in my corner any day. She will me remembered.

So quick...

It's been a month...so short a time...I wasn't ready.

I'm So Sorry.....

:rose: I just found out about the passing of someone I considered a terrific author, Ms. Collen Thomas. Words cannot convey my sadness at hearing of her passing; I never met the woman nor ever spoke to her, but her writings spoke volumes to me. She was an author that I looked forward to reading, and I would always check her site for new stories. She wrote from her heart and it showed in every story she had written. I hope that her partner can find some solace in these simple words, and I just wanted to say "Thank You Colleen, for your light, your life, and your words...they will live on because of you..."

I agree. It is a huge loss. I did not know Colly. I only discovered her writings and who she was after her death. I think I can comfortably say we had a lot in common despite our many differences and she was an inspiring person. All this is part of why I am writing my next story with her in mind as a reader and dedicated to her memory.

Pure,

Thank you for posting this. I had no idea.

Devastated to come back to news like this.

I'm sorry to say I just saw this, I've read a few of her stories and loved her work.

From what little I know, she seemed to be very well known. I'm sorry for your loss. Can anyone recommend me to some of her work. Maybe just a sampling for now. Thanx, Josie

It wasn't just her stories, it was her constant lovely presence on the boards here. Everyone knew her and most loved her. Look at this thread to see that.

You can find her work here.

For myself I liked her Football Widow series and the Latin stories. The Office Party and Blackout are two very hot standalone pieces.

The Latin stories inspired my first Georges Belleveau story, which has expanded into a nice little series of its own.
