The secret is to choose the right colour in the first place. Same goes for curtains. The curtains in my dungeon are pale spunk, offsetting a predominantly beige and "wheat" theme, which is soothing and saves on the cleaning. Blood is still a problem of course.

Yeah, I cocked up on the curtain front in mine... I went for a pale lilac cotton mix. It's a bitch to get spunk stains out of them, and don't talk to me about blood! Can't even boil-wash the fuckers.

I am okay at describing surroundings and outer motivations....
