Coffee Temperature

I find that my coffee tastes better when it’s cooled to something less than piping hot, down to above lukewarm.

No, it needs to be drank hot. Cooling does something to its components, oils and such, I just don't remember exactly at the moment.

It should also be drank black. If you want to put a bunch of crap in it (other than Chivas), just go to Wendy's for a Frosty™.

Exactly; once it cools a bit, you get the flavors.

I have a Bodum press and a few cans of various bought on Sale coffee like Folgers in the pantry for the end of days …and when you visit.
