Coffee and Relationships

I love coffee and for many years had it just black. I like dark roasted beans and I grind my own beans and make my coffee with a french press.

Lately however, I have been adding quite a bit of half and half to the coffee. I think that's an indicator that some how my life is not going as well as it should be.

Today I start back with black coffee.

Well that's good!! What changed today?

I think I decided that today is a bit of a turning point for me. I actually wrote several affirmations on cards and started reading them. Heard a good thing about that on the radio the other night by David Allen, a guy that I respect.

i like Dark roast 100% Columbian...half and half with Sweet & Low and would a woman to serve it to in bed along with a lite breakfest...then play for a bit.

I was inspired this morning by something that Mr. Show said to me, and it got me to wondering, what does the type of coffee you enjoy say about what you want from a relationship?

I, for example, am a big fan of frothy sugary coffees, like vanilla bean lattes or banana chocolate capuccinos. In my mind, I think it means that I want a really fun relationship, something that's not so serious, at least right off the bat. Maybe as I get into it more, I'll be willing to add a shot of espresso, lol.

Anyway, I hope you guys think this is an interesting topic as well. Feel free to post your fav coffees, what you think it means, and comment on other people's choices as well. I did this with a few friends on facebook this morning, and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

hmmmm! interesting thread here, I have to say that I try all types of coffee and that variety is the key,

a big capuccino fan here with lots of chocloate flakes

hopefully the variety thing means that i am willing to push the limits and go to new, untested heights in a relatiosnhip- crazy i know!

i do love a thick frothy coffee and think it means that I like that intial 'getting to know you stage' before i move on more in depth

Fresh coffee and the first of pot, for it would be the only thing I get the first of........

I used to drink a Starbuck's triple shot almond latte...but they don't have almond anymore *pout*, so now it's a triple shot classic latte...and sometimes, I go for the quad shot! Zooooooooommmm! :D

At home I brew up Starbuck's House blend...with a splash of half & half.

I don't know what that means, except that when I find what tastes just right, what I like...I'm loyal and stick with it. :)
