Coffee and Relationships

I was inspired this morning by something that Mr. Show said to me, and it got me to wondering, what does the type of coffee you enjoy say about what you want from a relationship?

I, for example, am a big fan of frothy sugary coffees, like vanilla bean lattes or banana chocolate capuccinos. In my mind, I think it means that I want a really fun relationship, something that's not so serious, at least right off the bat. Maybe as I get into it more, I'll be willing to add a shot of espresso, lol.

Anyway, I hope you guys think this is an interesting topic as well. Feel free to post your fav coffees, what you think it means, and comment on other people's choices as well. I did this with a few friends on facebook this morning, and everyone seemed to have a really good time.

I take my coffee black - if I'm making it myself. If I'm at cafe, then it's light cream and one Splenda.

That probably says that if the effort is mine, then I'm plain and easy - but if someone else is brewing I want a little bit more.

Kind of makes me sound like an asshole. I hope that's not the case.

Interesting idea! anything to support the lovely Calender Girl!!

I like bold complex flavors in my coffee. Dark beans, just a bit of milk, dash of sugar. But I do like to spice it up with some cinnamon or vanilla.

I think it that on the surface that may seem like a rather plane drink/relationship, once you get into the complex flavors theres a lot more there. So in coffee/relationships, dont just a book by its cover!!

I love coffee and for many years had it just black. I like dark roasted beans and I grind my own beans and make my coffee with a french press.

Lately however, I have been adding quite a bit of half and half to the coffee. I think that's an indicator that some how my life is not going as well as it should be.

I like my coffee dark, strong and sweet. I tend to like caramel in it, and I drink it iced. To me, I think it means I am strong and sweet, and just a bit different. I like to think maybe a little complex.

I drink coffee all day long and many times at night...although since I'm older it's decaf at night now.

Frist thing in the morning...we ground the coffee and I use a little sweetnlow and flavored creamer...wakes me up and gives me a little flavor to start the day

During the work day it's black with a little sweetener....all business...

If I need soething sweet during the day it's Starbucks misto with a little sweetener.....to me it like a dessert..kind of like a ltte but not nearly the calories

I'll have those at night too....to me a misto is a conversation coffee

What my coffee says about me!!!!

I drink Triple lattes extra hot and sweet. Never a flavor. I have my own espresso/capp. machine at home and still spend alot on coffee when I am not at home.

Payday would be my candy bar of choice
