Okay, so at work a female co-worker asked me if I liked coconut and I told her I did not. She told me most guys don't and I didn't believe her. So we started asking everyone and it turns out not a single guy at work liked coconut and most of the women did.

So now I'm taking this question global and we're going to get to the bottom of this thing right now.

Strange, but my brother and 2 nephews don't like coconut, but my son does.

I'm cuckoo for coconuts.

Sort of. I like coconut cream and milk for flavoring. I get a coconut flavored rum. I found some coconut chips/flakes for snacking. I use packaged coconut flakes in some recipes. I found a dried variety of ground flakes I sprinkle over some things. Even found a coconut blossom sugar that's pretty good.

I'm not into the whole ones in stores though.

I love coconut. Fresh coconut flesh, coconut milk, dried flakes in my muesli, a Bounty bar, all yum.

I don’t like Malibu, though, that sickly coconut liqueur stuff. Ugh.

I don't know how to answer this. I do like fresh coconut, especially in home made coconut cakes. But I hate candy with coconut. Nothing worse than biting into a piece of candy from a box of chocolates and getting a coconut one.

I love coconut, and so did my dad. But my mom hates it. So once a year, she would bake us both a coconut crème pie as a treat. Mom doesn't bake much anymore, and I miss that....

Also, Captain Morgan does a CocoLoco liquer that is amazing!

I have to admit, I do put coconut oil in my coffee every morning to add good fat to it. But there's no taste, so I don't count that as coconut.

I've also heard you can use coconut oil on other things, for other reasons

Karen, I couldn't agree with you more about the candy. Biting into some sweet chocolate only to find that it has betrayed me with a coconut filling is the worst act of treachery I've ever experienced!

Have any of those guys you work with ever actually seen a coconut? Have they ever held one in their hands? Climb a palm tree to get some, grab a machete & cut into the bottom, slicing a chunk off while narrowly missing the closest finger? Having the coco milk splash out before lifting said coconut up to their mouths & drink deep of it's nectar?

In one of my markets there are at least 3 coconut vendors every saturday & sunday selling coconuts. They are almost always sold out by the end of the day. That is a lot of dang coconuts.

Down in Miami there are these old guys with fruit carts. You walk up to them holding up as many fingers as you need & tell them...coco frio mang.

I love coconuts.

I didn't care for it growing up, but I like it now.

Plus, coconut oil is amazeballs for, erm... various external applications. But i already told you that.
