One day, sometime before noon, it begins to snow. It snows all day, and the snow falls at a constant rate. At exactly noon a plow begins to clear a linear fixed-width road (you may assume that the plow’s width and the road’s width are the same), moving a constant volume of snow per unit time. It clears two miles of road during its first hour of operation and one mile during the second hour. What time did it start snowing?
The only way to solve this problem is with a lot of calculations and a cock to sit on.
Cock'n calc, does a body good.
