I've been using a small scissors to trim the hair around my cock and balls, but find it a bit hit-and-miss in terms of doing a good job.

What do others recommend? I read that shaving can raise issues of ingrown hairs, shaving rash or uncomfortable hair regrowth.

I love the feel of my almost hairless cock and balls in my hands when I'm masturbating or the clean sensation when they are simply resting on my thighs. It feels so erotic and makes me very aroused.

I use a pair of clippers without a guard on my husband. It get's it very short but he doesn't have the problems you listed.

:)

I go with scissors as well, but then I'm not aiming for completely hairless, so it's less of an issue for me.

This is a bit of a different route, but have you considered waxing? It's not all that uncommon amongst men nowadays, and it'll get rid of all the hairs. I believe there's a procedure that is referred to as a "back, sack and crack" wax, which should fit neatly with what you're looking for :)

I use scissors to CAREFULLY trim the hair to my desired length. If I'm going bald, I then shave the whole thing in the shower. If I don't want to shave it all, I shave my shaft and balls. I just make sure the water is hot and I take my time. I rarely have a problem with ingrown hairs and it doesn't itch much either when it grows back. I consider myself lucky.

But even if it did itch terribly when it grows back.... smooth balls are TOTALLY worth it. :D

i use a beard trimmer with the shortest attachment. that seems to keep it under control for me.

Waxing with men doesn't work great, because the skin on the ball sack is so loose. I used to do full body waxings, and the woman doing it described the sound of guys getting their balls and such done, she said it was incredibly loud......the skin around a women's genitals is a lot tighter, to a brazillian wax isn't quite as painful I hear.

beard clipper/trimmer for the pubes and razor for the balls

Thanks for the responses, everyone.

Anyone try any hair removal creams, instead of shaving or waxing?

Don't do this. If you want to know what it's like, do sit your sack in a fire any bed for a couple days. Trust me.

I believe this is the only way to go...100% shaved cock, balls and hole. Sanitary and fun!
Sanitary and Fun! lol
My hubby and his razors seem to work great (new razor every time or two) and he prefers to use conditioner rather than a shave cream

Hair removal creams is probably worse than Ben Gay or Tigerbalm on the testes.

I stick to the good old fashioned beard trimmer with the appropriate trimmer attachment selected. Totally smooth is weird for me so I like to leave at least a little bit. Can't be too hairy either!

Wax

I am in the "short and neat" group myself when it comes to pubic hair, but when I was in a relationship with a woman who liked completely hairless I found the best answer was wax. Take a small bit at a time, apply, set and pull. This will get you past the problem of lose skin another poster mentioned. Once you're clean, just do it frequently and it's easy enough to maintain. Once you get past the whole "oh my god I'm ripping my pubic hair out" thing, it doesn't hurt that bad. Oh, and don't yank - a slow and steady pull works best (at least for me) and hurts less.

I have shaved, used creams and waxes. A professional waxing is by far the best. It lasts a long time, and the hair grows back thinner. Waxing does hurt a bit. It helps if you take an Advil an hour before you go, and have some Dermaplast to spray on afterward.

I used a cream called Magic for a while. It is nasty stuff, but by trial and error I figured out how to use it and minimize the discomfort. Once I tried waxing though, I never looked back.

Avon makes a great hair removal cream for sensitive places with no burning or other side effects.

I use electric trimmers for most of my body hair. Sometimes Ill leave a little around the base of my cock...but most times I go as close as I can.

Then I follow up with razor for the balls because the wrinkles WILL get caught in the stupid clippers sometimes. And bleeding around that area is just no fun haha.

Its also WAY easier to get things cleaned up if you are hard IMO. A little shaving cream feels great and you can keep yourself up for the whole process unless you have someone helping you of course :)

If you are worried about the picking or itching, baby powder also does wonders. I usually put some on when I get dressed for the day. It makes a HUGE difference in the comfort of having shaved parts. If I dont use it, things stick to other things and it just gets sooo uncomfortable...especially during the summer.

I use an electric beard trimmer for the hair just above my scepter and jewels. I get it to the lowest setting (without going to the bare metal on the trimmer). That works pretty well and leaves enough hair that I rarely get ingrown hairs. I use a razor and shaving cream (not gel....too many additives in gel) on my balls in the shower. This ensures it's always wet and gets me nice and smooth.

Hope that helps!

Honestly, shaving is the best way to go. I shave all the time down there and it was only really uncomfortable the first 2 or 3 times. Afterwards, you get used to it. And I've never had a problem with ingrown hairs, but then again that's just me.

Have you thought of plucking the hair out and be smooth for many days?

To start just shave to reduce the hair mass. When the hair starts growing back, wait couple of days before trying to pluck them. You want a longer length of stubble to grip with the tweezers. I found hanging one of those crafting magnifying glass around my neck help to see the fine hairs better.

Just relax and take your time. You may have to do it in multiple sessions. Once that's done, it will be days before anything start growing back.

Plucking the hair that grows back is so much easier. By the way, the hair that grows back is nice and soft. they don't have that cut edge like stubble do.

If you're doing it yourself, there are places you can't see to get to. Just shave those areas, but the rest are smooth from plucking the hair out.
