Schumer’s speech today shows the tide is turning in the court of congressional opinion. The public had, for the most part globally, already turned.

Most of the UN at this point is considering their ties to Israel. Norway has outright told every private and public body that they must consider whether working with Israel may make them complicit for genocide under International law.

The death toll continues to rise, but I hope that soon, enough momentum is gained to stop any more of this mass murder on a state scale.

It is truly the worst I have seen in my lifetime.

Aid seekers wounded by ‘direct shots’ at Kuwait Roundabout: Report​

Mohammed Ghurab, director of emergency services at a hospital in northern Gaza, has reportedly said people were wounded by gunshots at the Kuwait Roundabout in Gaza City.

Schumer's speech was a disgrace, but it does point to the turning tide of the Democrat Party to support anti-Semitism and our nation's enemies. It was the first time in history that an American Senate leader called for the removal of the leader of an allied country. This is an insult to the Israeli people who voted for that leader. It also shows Schumer's actual ignorance of Israel and its government. The fact is in the existing Israeli cabinet Benjamin Netanyahu is a moderate. There are more than a few members who are farther to the right than he is. It's very possible he could be replaced with an even more strident national leader. The majority of Israelis are behind Bibi.

• Turfing them out of their houses then selling them
• Killing their crops
• Killing their loved ones
• Appropriating their culture
• Restricting their right to practice their religion (Muslim and Christian alike)
• Kill their children (one a day, every day, for years on end)
• Practice an apartheid system
• Make life so miserable for the indigenous population by way of constant harassment and injury
• Give no legal recourse to them

Then are you really surprised when an armed group pops up that then does such awful things?

Then there was the fact that, according to Hamas data from 29 October, 26 men came back to life; and the fact that on several days, no men were apparently killed at all, but only women. Were we really supposed to believe any of this?

In February, Hamas admitted to losing 6,000 of its fighters, representing more than 20 per cent of the total casualties reported. Given its claims that 70 per cent of the dead were women and children, there were two possible conclusions: either almost no male civilians had died, or almost all the men in Gaza were fighting for Hamas. Both were obviously absurd.

Therefore, the number of women and children killed was likely grossly exaggerated. If that is the case – if, as Prof Wyner suggests, “the casualties are not overwhelmingly women and children, and the majority may be Hamas fighters” – where does that leave western outrage? Has the West fallen victim to a monstrous con?

The true ratio of civilian casualties to combatants is likely to be exceptionally low, “at most 1.4 to 1 and perhaps as low as 1 to 1”. This, Prof Wyner says, is a “successful effort to prevent unnecessary loss of life while fighting an implacable enemy that protects itself with civilians”.
