JERUSALEM, Dec 3 (Reuters) - Israeli forces have found 800 shafts leading to Hamas' vast subterranean network of tunnels and bunkers since a Gaza ground operation began on Oct 27, and have destroyed more than half of them, the military said on Sunday.

The Palestinian Islamist group said before the now eight-week-old war in the Gaza Strip that it had hundreds of kilometres of tunnels - a network comparable in size to the New York subway system - to protect and serve as operational bases.

You just cant help yourself. In your debased hate, you missed the point. We see through you. Debased hate has lowered you to a level lower then you were heretofore.

It has nothing to do with babies as hostages.
Quit sucking BB's cock.

This thread is specifically to provide information about the war. bB consistently posts bullshit hatred of Palestinians. I consistently call him out on it.

Don't like it...go cry to BB.

Both Israel and Hamas recall negotiators from Doha. Hamas refuse to cease hostilities until all prisoners are released.

This is definitely going to get worse before it gets better.

There's an al Jazeera source as well, though I refuse to source link that site, and there wasn't much additional info anyway
i agree with that summary—gonna get worse before it gets better—but why are you anti al Jazeera? you may well know something i don't, as i'd always considered them a reliable source but it's not that i've used them a whole lot.

As part of its campaign to eradicate Hamas from Gaza, Israel has targeted strikes against a network of tunnels underneath the enclave that are used by the militant group to transport weapons and people without detection by Israeli air surveillance. The map above shows tunnels as they have been identified by the Israel Defence Forces running underneath Gaza City and other locations in the Palestinian enclave.

How big are the tunnels?
Tunnel construction varies, but the more sophisticated ones are reinforced with concrete and are high enough for a man of average height to stand up in. They often include power and communication lines.

They are owned by Qatar and have consistently reported overly biased shit that isn't corroborated (not just about this conflict, but overall) Its the same reason I don't post anything from RT.com.

ok, thanks for that. i'll make sure to check their reporting against others before posting them as sources in future.

I do that for all sources anymore. But aJ is just one I won't ever source because they are consistently off base. Just easier to find another source and post that.

I also don't want to give Qatar any more publicity.....I seriously wish we would pressure them to turn over Hamas.

Congress Freezes $6 Billion for Iran

JAZZ SHAW 9:21 AM on December 04, 2023

This took place on Thursday, but it’s looking increasingly real. In a move that the Daily Mail described as “humiliating” for Joe Biden, lawmakers cast a bipartisan vote to freeze the six billion dollars that the President had previously freed up for Iran as part of his hostage negotiation deal. The move drew the support of nearly every Republican but also attracted nearly 100 Democrats. Now it’s looking as if it might pass in the Senate as well. During a time when it’s been seeming as if common sense had been banned in Washington, we have lawmakers seemingly conceding that sending billions of dollars to the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism might not be such a great idea.

The money is being held in Qatar, where most negotiations between the West and terror groups take place these days. The reality is that Joe Biden had already “refrozen” the money after the October 7 Hamas terror attacks. Congress is now close to locking the door to those funds indefinitely.

Keep in mind that the money was originally leveraged to free five American hostages as well as five Iranian prisoners. But before the cash transfer was even complete, an even larger number of Americans were taken hostage by Hamas, which is almost entirely funded by Iran. In that sense, the United States was losing ground in the exchange, rather than getting something of value for the money.

About time.

Holy shit.....a source!!??!! But that means I can read and make my own conclusions that might be different from yours.....??

I'm curious whether the locations will be discovered in time.
The authors at present don’t know the location of parties making trades and whether the traders were connected to any particular financial firms, government entities or terrorist organizations. And they urge caution before drawing such conclusions.

You are too stupid to make a conclusion other than what you are told. But nice try. If you keep telling yourself that lie...you will believe it...and it becomes your reality

You continue to demonstrate that you don't care to discuss information and instead just want people to agree with your bullshit.

Just like the other idiot in this thread.....

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. State Department will impose visa bans against individuals involved in undermining peace, security or stability in the occupied West Bank, Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a statement on Tuesday announcing a new visa restriction policy.
The restrictions will target those who have committed acts of violence or taken other actions that restrict civilians' access to essential services and basic necessities and may also apply to those individuals' family members, Blinken said.
“We have underscored to the Israeli government the need to do more to hold accountable extremist settlers who have committed violent attacks against Palestinians in the West Bank,” Blinken said.

During meetings in Israel last week, Blinken told officials Washington was "ready to take action using our own authorities," he said.

not sure how much a visa ban will have a great effect but then i don't know the kinds of numbers of extremist settlers attacking Palestinian civilians who would be seeking visas anyway.

and, yes, Blinken also warned that the Palestinian authority "must do more to curb Palestinian attacks against Israelis."

A senior State Department official said last week the U.S. wants Israel to prosecute individuals responsible for the West Bank violence but had yet to see such a step.

Israel engaged in "most intense fighting" of the war.

Also, freed hostages make some harsh criticisms of their own government
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ministers of his war cabinet met with several hostages who were released after being held for weeks in Gaza by Hamas.
The released hostages castigated the Israeli government officials for claiming to have intelligence on Hamas locations yet bombing indiscriminately. They said during captivity they were more afraid of Israeli bombs than their militant captors.

The remaining hostages are doomed

Time to write them off

Kill hamas

Hope for a miracle

The flooding of the tunnels has begun, and with it the terrorists are drowning. Hamas called their 10/7 Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. The name proved to be prophetic.
