However, be forewarned it became a flame war near the end. I just don't feel like reposting all my comments.

The reason I put the first link in was for this reason. Now that the baby is supposedly in the US, they are postponing doing a DNA test. What would be done is they would do a DNA fingerprint, similarly to one used in paterninty determination testing. Only this one (I would hope) would be more specific than the general ones used with paternity testing. The DNA fingerprint would be done of the baby and the woman who the baby is the clone of. If the cloning was done, the fingerprints would look identical.

By postponing the DNA test its not making them look like they've actually done it, I mean if you were being accussed that you hadn't done it, I would be pushing to get the proof out as soon as possible, but that's me.

In fact while doing the standard test done on newborns in the US for PKU, a satisfactory sample for a DNA fingerprint could also be done. I think they are just bullshitting the world personally.

I found the fact that when "Rael" was questioned if it was a publicity stunt that he all the sudden had microphone problems....sounds kinda sneaky to me.

the thing is, it's not up to clonaid; it'sup to the parents and they are worried because they are, in fact being threatened. there is alrady a suit filed in florida which propses taking the child from them if the child's health is lacking.
