I have heard that after getting this done, the sex is great for about 6 months, and then the clit just starts losing feeling after that. Is this true? Any one out there with their clit pierced want to share what it's like?

not true!
if it's done right, and your piercer takes care not to go thro the nerve bundle that runs up into your pubis from your clit, then you should have no problems.

as a piercer, my advice is to go to someone who has been operating for some time and has a good rep.

there are a lot of 'wannabe's' out there, so personal recommendations are always a good way to go.

oh, and personally, i recommend the horizontal clit hood piercing, with a ring, with the ball sitting just on the tip of your clit.

I'd thought about doing it, but what with the damn UTI I fought with for a month, which I have mostly recovered from, at least enough to have sex again, I don't want to risk having any more pain inflicted down there. It's going to have to wait for a while--until the memory of all that pain fades away.
