Well the story purported to be true, and I'd always assumed that the clitoris kind of corresponded to the glans of the male penis in terms of nerve endings and sensation. If I give myself a firm squeeze with my fingers right there, there doesn't seem to be much sensation at all. I don't imagine bobby pins would hurt much (which is suprising, when one considers how sensitive the clit actually is). It's mostly just fleshy, particularly the areas surrounding. I think most of the appeal of doing such is just the pressure, not the pain in this case.

Maybe this will be my homework for later. I would say you are quite safe, though.

Alka Seltzer -- gotta try that one. I found some peppermint body wash that leaves a nice tingle -- probably akin to toothpaste. A pinch of cinnamon also does neat things (and the tastes meld well).
