There's a difference between clips and clamps. Clit clips are more "non piercing body jewelry" than they are a clamp of any sort. I've never worn one, so I do not know what the beads will do. In my opinion, I've never really liked them. They seem ugly and cheap to me.

As for clamps, they are very similar to most nipple clamps on the market. (And they come in different sizes and styles as well. I own a pair that are two nipple clamps connected by a chain with another chain going down to a clit clamp.)
