Someone said that for a man, the climax in a porn story coincides with the act of physiological climax in the story, but for a woman, the climax in a sex story tends to come when she consents.

I have noticed that men tend to include more graphic descriptions of the sexual act in their erotica, whereas a lot of women's stories tend to gloss over objective descriptions of the physical act.

All generalizations lie and all, but I'd be interested in people's opinion of this.

Dear Dr M,
My stories certainly don't gloss over anything.

Interesting idea, Mabeuse. I haven't been alert to this when I read but I know when I write I work on the before, after and in betweens of fucking scenes. I do enjoy writing the sex bits but without the seduction or foreplay, etc., I wouldn't be writing erotica.

I like setting up the characters (discovering their quirks and desires) and the scenes, then the varied intercourse, emotional and sexual, etc. I'm interested in role play so the climaxes are really like anti-climaxes for me (writing-wise).

However, when I read erotica, for pleasure, if the before and in between stuff is boring I just go for the fuck and hope it's not boring. I've read many authors who aren't too good at the in-between but brilliant at the sex. Can't recall the writers' genders but I'll keep it in mind now.

Ok i am very manly...

...no I'm not coming out,I AM a woman but i am very man like when it comes to sex.

I often fall asleep after i come.

I just masturbate...no candles no body caressing just wanking...

I enjoy stroke stories!

ok and before i alienate myself from the whole female population i come to my point. I find when a story moves me enough for me to send the author positive feedback it is very nearly always a man who has written it.

I am probably the exception to the rule however but in general i prefer men's writing to that of womens.
