Another Climate Alarmist Admits Real Motive Behind Warming Scare

Fraud: While the global warming alarmists have done a good job of spreading fright, they haven’t been so good at hiding their real motivation. Yet another one has slipped up and revealed the catalyst driving the climate scare.

We have been told now for almost three decades that man has to change his ways or his fossil-fuel emissions will scorch Earth with catastrophic warming. Scientists, politicians and activists have maintained the narrative that their concern is only about caring for our planet and its inhabitants. But this is simply not true. The narrative is a ruse. They are after something entirely different.

Why is there no author on this editorial? Why is all but one citation a link to another editorial printed by the same publication?

No one who has called "Bull Shit" all these years is going to be surprised. And the true believers aren't going to believe a word of it.

Oh Lordy. This is not a news story. It's an editorial referencing editorials from 2015 back to 2010. Ha! Thanks for the giggles.

What do people think about this one? (I'm just asking, not participating)

What makes it a bit confusing is that they added quite a few things to the mix : facts grounded in real research, political agendas and so on.

"ExxonMobil under investigation over claims it lied about climate change risks
New York attorney general subpoenasZ"

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2015/nov/05/exxonmobil-investigation-climate-change-peabody

"The company confirmed that it had received a subpoena from Eric Schneidermann, the New York attorney general, for financial records, email and other documents related to climate change.

The two giants of the fossil fuel industry – Exxon and Peabody – have long come under criticism from environmental and science groups for funding climate denial front groups, and spreading disinformation about climate science.

Democratic presidential contenders Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders have both called for investigations into Exxon, following revelations that the company knew for decades about the dangers of climate change, but continued to cast doubt about the science."

Q: What do you call 100 climate deniers staked out at Miami Beach?
A: A sea wall.

Q: What do you call 100 corporate lawyers at the bottom of the sea?
A: A good start.

I think Plato was a sceptic on climate change as well.

I don't mind people not believing it so much becasue I sort of understand it. It's the dumb I don't like. People who link that one guys blog that even other deniers say is full of shit or ones like this idiot who thinks a six year old quote is breaking news.

Conspiracy nuts referencing conspiracy nuts referencing conspiracy nuts. Do it enough times at it almost looks like the truth. A lie repeated enough times becomes believable. Self-delusion is well documented.

The climate has always changed and been in a state of change. Milder winters compared to the fifties and sixties in MHO...

Do I think people are taking advantage of peoples fears on something that is going to happen anyway?

Well Sure!

Can we stop The rising seas? NO.

Can we build on higher ground? Yes!

Can we tell how far inland to build...Well hell yes and figure a time scale to do it in too.

Has it been known that the seas were rising for at least fifty years. YES.

So there you have it...Both sides are right and we are in for a fucking by Government and big business...

They cling to this global warming shit like a bible thumper to the New Testament.

Yet fgvarb , himself a "bible beater", is the OP of this thread.

Miles, have you been checked for dementia? Your argument is more backward than usual.

That guys quote is 6 years old you morons.

First off, you need an apostrophe...

;)

Is there a born-on date for truth?

And the OP stated something obvious, for three decades we have been told, disaster is right around the corner. To paraphrase Brutus, disaster should be made of sterner stuff.

Global warming as communist trojan horse. Good 'ol Communism!

Socialistic thinking was fairly popular amongst late 50's beatniks and '60's hippies.

It fled the mainstream for a few decades, but returned with the popularization of the Internet in the '90's. ("Information just wants to be free")

The idea of a UN-led socialist social engineering program to redistribute wealth to the Third World isn't far fetched at all.

When the cofounder of Greenpeace split, he spilled the beans on the Red Green Show...

;) ;)

Just because the USSR collapsed, does not mean that Communists could not find a new line of employment, a new cause, so to speak.

The Communist Threat was good for the global economy.

And James Bond.

And actors with a good fake Russian accent.

If you exclude the Russian, East German, and other Communist economies from the phrase "Global Economy," then still the answer is no...

;) ;)

Wealth is not increased by exclusion and trade war.

No it isn't, although probably a bit more complicated with the motives far more varying and usually hidden.

I tend to agree on your last point, AJ... Canadian-Cuban/Chinese/Russian trade have always been in our basket.

Too bad the mainstream media doesn't engage in more in depth supposition on the theories behind "global issues".
