Again, read a little. I am far from the only one that thinks you added to the problem. I am not saying that what you said was the worst thing or the only thing. Simply that you made a comment right after she posted that guys were making her reconsider posting here.
As a general rule, a simple compliment is encouraged by all, but more than that should only be after you have established that the woman is good with it. I'm not trying to vilify you, but use your example to make sure we don't piss off and loose anyone else.
