Ford's also said Canadian nickel can be exported elsewhere. Canadian nickel mines supply 50% of nickel used in the USA. It's in demand world-wide, and Canada's nickel producers have already said the EU and China can take everything they produce
Well, Trump created this mess, Canada is unlikely to back down given Trump's bombastic aggressiveness, and this is very likely going to lead to a rapid realignment of Canada with the EU.
