Cleaning vibrators

I have recently purchased my very first vibrator. I enjoy it a lot, but I was wondering what is the best way to clean it before and after I use it? Just regular hadn soap? Any suggestions?

Soap – use lots of soap. Remember that you would like it to be
absolutely clean for your own sake. If you want to be certain that
it’s 100% bacteria free, finish off with alcohol – keep in mind that bacteria only need water to survive.

I don't suppose it's "dishwasher safe"?

Seriously, an anti-bacterial dish soap would be a good choice or a liquid hand soap that's anti-bacterial. As Carmen pointed out, bacteria don't need much to survive and thrive.
