Sam only finally got a chance to catch up once they had to backtrack around a boulder that was too large to climb, and he caught Fiona by her waist, her back to his chest. His fingers looped into her belt to make sure she couldn't get away, and his lips found her jaw line and pressed burning kisses to her skin. His free hand was tangled in her tunic.

A delighted shriek left her lips, her fox so pleased that Sam had chased her all the way through the forest to catch her. She was laughing as his fingers looped around her belt and his other hand tangled in her tunic, pulling her back against his chest as his lips attacked her throat with a startling passion. A low sound issued from her throat, her head tipping back against his broad shoulder as he rewarded himself for winning their little game.

Sam soon had Fiona trapped up against a tree, her back still to him and her hands braced against the trunk. He didn't waste much time in unfastening her belt and his own, and he only got as far as tossing aside her trousers and unbuttoning his own before he couldn't wait any longer. One of his hands braced against the tree and the other took firm hold of her hip as he sank as deeply into her body as possible with a dark groan.

"Sam." She gasped as he soon was pressing into her from behind, her trousers tossed to the side.

He seemed to know exactly what he wanted and she had never seen him in as good a mood as he was that day. She was intent to simply allow him to show her what he wanted. He had been so incredibly good to her since they had gotten together and she trusted Sam with her life, her heart, and her soul.

Sam's thrusts were powerful and his arm soon wrapped tightly around her middle. His lips kissed hungrily at what skin he could reach, his fingers unbuttoning her tunic so he could expose more.

Fiona let out a groan as he pulled apart her tunic, exposing her skin so that he could attack more with his lips. Her fingers curled against the thick trunk that he kept her pressed again, his hand around her waist making sure that she would never escape. She tilted her head back, her gasps and groans loud in the quiet clearing.

Sam pushed her limits until he pulled back and turned her around, pressing her back against the tree and kissing her like their lives depended on it. He picked her up, wrapping her legs around his waist and plunging back into her core, using her weight to his advantage. With her arms and legs wrapped around him, he held her with one arm while the other hand slipped between them to tease her little bud.

Fiona clung to Sam as he spun her around, holding her as he wrapped her legs around his hips and rutted her against the tree. She had no idea what had gotten into him that day but she wasn't about to deny him a good day and a good time. His hand was soon snaking between them, fingers stroking her nub until she saw stars.

A long whimper left her throat as the kiss continued, her entire body shuddering as she came in a sudden rush. Her entire body quaked, bucking against him as he continued on his journey.

When Sam finally drew back with a dark growl, he held Fiona tightly in place as his body locked up for a moment. The only hint that he slowly came back to the present was when he laid his head against her shoulder.

"What got into you?" Fiona whispered as he finally rested his head against her shoulder, the both of them relaxing and she let out a contented sigh. "Not that I'm complaining, but you haven't been this aggressive in a long time."

"I try not t'be..." Sam murmured, his arms firmly wrapped around her. "Maybe I jus' needed t'get a little energy out." He really didn't know why himself, only that he was in a wonderful mood and he'd felt like chasing her. Without a drop of werefolk blood in his veins that he knew of, he certainly took after the werefolk he'd grown up around, especially his Aunt Selena's family.

"You don't have to hide from me." She said softly, as he hugged her tightly, telling her that he simply had some energy to get rid of. "I want everything that you have to offer. Good and bad."

"I never mean t'hide," Sam told her with a little smile. "Call it a force o' habit, keepin' both happiness an' anger bottled up. But I'm happy. You've seen t'tha'."

Fiona chuckled as she leaned in and kissed her lover, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling him in close. "I adore you, Sam." She murmured against his lips, enjoying the little moment between the both of them.

"Tha's pretty lucky fer me, aye?" Sam kissed her in return and after they righted their clothing, he walked with her back toward where she'd been working. "Anythin' new with you today?"

"No. It's been just me and Kesh all day." Fiona said as she leaned into Sam's side as they walked back to where she'd been napping. "I was working on a new gown because everyone seems convinced that you're taking me to Malmo."

"I am. Tha' is, if you want t'go," Sam chuckled. "I told you I needed someone t'dance with." He knew she would insist she didn't dance but he intended to have at least a few songs with her.

"I don't know about the dancing, but I would love the see the city with you. Maybe I can borrow Kesh so Roman can stay behind with Elin." Fiona said softly as she leaned in and kissed Sam's cheek with a smile. "I intend to be the most beautiful woman at the ball. I want to make everyone else jealous."

"I'm sure ye've already done tha' to a few people," Sam chuckled. "Though my Aunt may jus' give ya a run fer your money. I'll always pick you, though, promise." As they came back to the little grassy spot, they found Kesh curled neatly around Fiona's things. He lifted his head to regard Sam and Fiona, yawned, and stretched out his dexterous arms and hands and clawed fingers.

"He's been digging through the grass. I think he's ready for Spring and the warmer days. I don't know if I am because that means we'll head back home." Fiona confessed as she pat Kesh on the head and took a seat beside him. "I'll miss everyone here."

"I think I'll miss it too. I've never felt so welcome outside my family's lands." Sam settled by her. "People tend t'be a little less friendly with me, probably from bein' so serious. But yer family's treated me like one o' their own."

"Well, we'll have to work on changing people's thoughts on the old serious Samuel Ghis." Fiona said as she gave him a small smile. "Your mother will be over the moon to see that you've loosened up a little bit. Your Da might not recognize you."

"I'm still as serious as ever when I'm no' around you, love," Sam chuckled. "I'm still serious. I jus' think I have a better sense o' humor about it all lately."

"We'll come back once a year at least. And I'm sure that they will come and see us when they can. I'll work twice as hard to make sure that there are enough funds that everyone can travel safely and comfortably." Fiona swore, knowing that she would work herself to the bone to make sure her grandparents were taken care of.

"An' you know I'll help you with tha'," Sam reminded her softly. Regardless of his background, he made and used his own money and never touched the treasury except for military reasons. He never had much to spend his own money on, which was why he enjoyed treating Fiona so much- it was going to a good use.
