Clash of the titans bondage at the end

I was more excited by Harry Hamlin on a winged horse. I was maybe 8, talk about protosexual thrills.

Wasn't there a scene in that movie where men in gladiator type gear were flaunting horsehair floggers? Am I confusing it w/ something else?

I have always loved that movie. Even as a little girl that scene at the end where she is chained touched a special place in me.

No confusion. When Pericles comes to Joppa a soldier is waving off "... marsh flies" with it.

No I haven't seen the movie too many times.

Oh wow, I saw that film a couple of months ago for the first time in ages, sat with a bunch of other chaps, trying to hide a massive hard-on! It is the least sexy film in the whole, lots of cheesy dialogue and dodgy special effects (remember the clockwork owl), but worth it for that bit!

I do remember it from my childhood, and loved that scene, though at the time I guess I didn't really know why. Lucky Kraken!

Wow...quite a flashback. I haven't thought about that movie in ages.
But NOW I find myself recalling things. Like...(and, yes, this might put one or two of you off) the scene with Madussa in the caverns. And, as an 11 yr old watching here snake around I REMEMBER thinking that her face was horrible, but that I liked the fact she had nothing over her breasts.
Now, although I don't recall too much about the girl chained up at the end of that movie (it's been since I was 11 people, gimme a break) I DO recall ANOTHER corny movie from "back in the day" that had quite an impression on me. Flash Gordon!! Campy, poorly done, Timothy Dalton (that right there is enough to condemn it) and a soundtrack by queen, it sucked for the most part.

However...........three scenes stuck with me at 11 years old that CHANGED me.
!.) Flash in the basement chained up, hands overhead as Dale comes in and puts her hands on his chest and he can't move his hands to touch back. (HOT!) And THEN 2.) after he's rescued and Ming's hottie daughter has him in the pilots chair and she straddles him and just messes with him with touches and softly spoken words (i'll need a shower after this I know it) and lastly...3.) The bad guy in black and the golden-skull mask takes Ming's daughter into a private room to whip the hell out of her. ....wow......I never realized how good that movie really was if you looked close enough. =D
Ah the things we type about and share at 5 am.

I spent much of last night watching the AFI's updated Top 100 American Movies show. Now I see that I've missed something worthwhile that would never make it into consideration for that kind of list.

I guess I need to get down to some down-and-dirty B-movie watching soon. :D
