Clairvoyance Wanted

I wish that was what happened. I actually wandered home blind drunk from the club last night, vaguely recall logging in and posting and was quoted before I could go back and remove it.

I don't really know what I was thinking. I wanted to completely disassociate with you but that was just very wrong. I'm terribly sorry.

Are you trying to kill yourself?

I think I missed the post where you said you ended your most current relationship before I gave my two cents.... so let me say, Killi, that you have my sympathy. I was in a relationship that wasn't really working but didn't want to end it so forced my "dominant" boyfriend into doing it for me... so what you did takes guts. And since you're so beautiful, obviously smart and from what I gather, a fairly cool person to be around - I think you'll find there will be plenty more opportunities down the road. So good luck and don't let your heartache mess up your studies too much and don't let your studies keep you from having fun and maintaining a healthy social life. (be smarter than I was :D )

She's awesome, isn't she?

Yep. And when she isn't speaking kind words of wisdom, she is "Yes, Ma'm" scary (in a good way).

History of Math, Immunology, Bacterial Genetics, and Physics of Electromagnetism! *sob*

Thanks for the luck, Caela. :) *greedily hoardes it for finals week*

*drools over class list, glassy eyed*

What? Oh, sorry... Math never interested me enough to get me to push through more than the necessary Calculus class. The Physics class I'm leery of, but would gamely attempt to screw up every freakin' lab class I could (I always seem to learn more that way). The bacterial genetics... um... can I have the class book (or books) when you are done with it (or them)?

*Edited*

I'm not brushing off your bigger problem, Killi, I just don't have the proper experiences to give you a good answer, especially when you have already gotten ones better than any second hand advice I could give.

Having taken far too many difficult classes in one semsester just to move myself along the pomp and circumstance road, I can say this, please don't try to cram too much of everything in at one time. Taking a full load is hard enough; but when I maxed out my schedule I just about killed my brain, and that was without having any romantic relationships to deal with (either break ups or on going).

I'm too far away from Hawaii to offer to take you out for coffee, but a soothing thought is being sent your way.

Light hearted side-tracks are sometimes the best method of taking someone's mind off of their troubles. A message like this, if it produces even a small smile, it's done a lot.

I'm in kind of a sappy mood tonight. But, who gives a rat's ass? ;)

Did I show you my cute little portable TENS unit? Sure, sure it's for medical reasons, but I only need that for like 15, 20 minutes 3 times a day... What else can I do with this that would be fun?

Killi, you don't need to be reading this hijack when you have so much studying to do... :D

Hey, I said I was in a SAPPY mood tonight...not a ZAPPY mood!

Without knoiwing what kind of TENS you have, it would be difficult to say for sure what is possible. Yes, a lot of fun can be had, no matter what kind it is, but if it's a double pole type, there are usually more dials for modulation settings and intensity settings and maybe even different wave types that you can select within the modulation settings that will give you quite a variety of sensations to experiemnt with.

If it's a single pole type, don't use it on your nipples. It won't be safe. It can send current through your heart and disrupt its own electrical impulses that make it beat.

If you can send me a web link that tells what it is, or if you can at least give me more of a discription of how many dals it has and what they say, that would help.

I'm interested to know...what is your afliction that you got it for medical reasons, if I might ask, and you don't mind telling. Muscle spasms, back pain or nerve stimulation for regeneration, perhaps? I might want to get one for my own, and if I have a medical ailment that could get insurance to pay... :nana:

OK. I think I will take the rest of this private, I've hijacked Killi's thread long enough for one day.

Thank you all for the kind words and advice... and no, I don't mind the hijacking, lol. :p

Things are going "okay." The three of us remain friends, although it's a strained friendship(s) because they both still want to be my SOs. I kind of hate not being in a relationship, sometimes it feels so scary and I don't know why, but I'm determined to give myself a few months before even attempting anything again. Sometimes I'm so happy to be alone, and live alone, and not have to answer to anyone about what I'm doing or where I'm going or have to worry about how they're feeling... But othertimes I'm so sad NOT to have someone to worry about and take care of and lean on and cuddle to sleep with. It's been a long time since I've been single and NOT dating, but I'm sure it'll be a very good experience for me and much needed at this point.

Thanks for all the concern and well-wishes. I heart you guys. :cathappy:

Now go to bed, ding-dong! It's either 1:30 or 2:30-ish a.m. where you are - don't you have classes (or work) today?

Completley normal. The strained relationship is too. But I would be wary if I noticed myself wanting to be a in a relationship just to be in a relationship.

Now take yourself out for some ice cream, or a movie or a walk on the beach.
