CJH, Do I owe You An Apology?

I think he's brilliant. I'm certainly not alone in that.

Of course, my opinion of him does not depend on whether I agree with his opinion in a single case. It's sort of odd that yours does.

Rightly or wrongly I've thought him a self centered stuffed shirt. I don't mean to imply I've changed my mind in that regard, but I did not expect him to knuckle under to what he once described as a "loose construction" of the Second Amendment in Heller. So kudos on that.

I think he's pretty principled as a jurist.

That's part of why he gets begrudging respect from those who disagree with his reasoning.

He's a fairly conservative judge. Leans libretarian.

I tried to steal a watermelon from the grocery store, but got caught.

They laughed then let me go.

That was fun, so next week I am going to try a frozen turkey.

I'm confused. So the NRA wantes concealed carry laws? And why should it matter? Aren't those who don't care about gun laws going to do what they want to do anyway?

Why are there drunk driving laws? Or any laws in fact.

Yeah but newer laws were added to address the problem of repeat dui offenders, especially where deaths occurred. That's why I can't understand the NRA and their attitude towards gun users who decide to have a massacre.

Because there are too many scared losers in America. My guess is that they were losers in highschool.

They need their guns.

If they ever had a gun pointed at them they'd piss their diapers and forget they were packing anyways.

Massacres may be fun, have you ever been to one?

The way I see it, anyone can be a victim of a massacre any day because no one is addressing the problem. What scares me as much is the number of people who feel the need to carry a gun everywhere..I'm thinking they don't want to be in a massacre either.

Specifically, what is that problem?

So you say we need more massacres.

Some people carry guns because they're afraid of being massacred by an idiot that shouldn't be carrying one.

Well, it's my understanding that the idiots with guns are so few in number that no one has anything to worry about.
