Cityscapes

Do you really want to know? Some luck, of course. It seemed obvious that it was northern Italy, the architecture and the street sign for example (I first tried to make the street sign legible, that didn't work). Then I did a number of Google-Advance searches, only Italy and Italian, narrowing the terms (there are not too many towns in northern Italy with this kind of arcades, I think), then there's that shop called ETH***. Most important, I did several limited photo searches (only in Italy, some narrowing to particular town names -- all photo searches without the girl, trying different frames of the building opposite). The rest was Google map and a bit of luck. It took me 20 minutes or so.

:nana:
That’s insane, but I really like it. Bravo, sir, bravo-fucking-oh.

Thanks a lot, Mr. Noone, if I wouldn't know that you like it (you said so before), I wouldn't do it... "misusing" the great pics you post. Since you like it, it feels almost a bit like ping pong - "geo-pin-upping," or sometimes as "geo-porr-positioning" or "point-porn." It's fun :ROFLMAO:

Yes, what you mentioned are the things I would look for. Judging from the architecture, I would think of the NE-USA or maybe northern Europe. There is an imposing iron truss-bridge nearby, and an abandoned factory that is falling apart. However, with that white-ish plant in the picture, it seems pretty difficult to photo-find any location. The original photos were captioned "in High Point," they were probably taken in April 2013. Do you know more? The girl's name(s), age, etc was easy to find.

The model and photographer are Russian so I'm going to guess Moscow industrial area. He was based there then but I couldn't find anything 😔

Yes, they are Russians, but no, not Moscow, imho (of course I might be wrong). There are a number of reasons for that. Rather St.Petersburg, which is a northern European city, but where in St.Petersburg? No, neither in St.Petersburg, I think.
