Circumcision

You want someone else to convince you?

Hell, if you don't want it, you don't want it. If you do, you do.

I don't know why anyone would, but you do you.

I'm not sure how easy it will be to find a surgeon who will do it on a purely elective basis.

Maybe a mohel but there's a whole other thing involved with getting their services.

I asked my husband who was circumcised in his mid teens. He wrote this for you:

"Mine was done for medical reasons - foreskin too tight. I don't know if you can get it done as a personal choice. Here in the UK it was done free on the NHS. Elsewhere you'll probably have to pay, especially if there's no medical reason.

Advantages:

Cleanliness.
Most women like it.
Head becomes desensitised over time meaning you last longer.

Disadvantages:

Erections painful until stitches heal.
Permanently exposed head can be uncomfortable in underwear for a few months.

For me the op was essential but I've never regretted it being done."

I would second all the above, I am also from the UK had to have the procedure when I was about 10 years old due to the above same issue.

I don't think desensitization is a good thing, even if it does make you last longer
