Last I checked, it is not a common procedure to remove the appendix of babies. The foreskin protects the end of the penis.

Well if your appendix was on the outside, I'm sure they would. Cutting someone open is slightly more risky than cutting off some skin. As far as protecting, my penis is fine and I was circumcised.
