Circumcision of Males Not Necessary - Court Case

I am so glad so many of you feel this way ! I don't have any kids yet, but someday I think I will. No sharp objects near my boys or girls, thank you very much ! Come any closer and I'll show you how i can be one scrappy mama ! ;)
I agree. I think it is very barbaric to cut off part of a guy's cock, even if it serves no purpose. My parents did it to me for some reason I may ask them about some day.

I like being cut. I couldn't care less and would have my son cut (if I had one...I have daughters from a straight marriage, so they are safe :))

You're entitled to your opinion. I think EVERY MAN should be Ward of Himself when it comes to overseeing modifications of HIS body. Hey, it's Men's Bodies, Men's Selves ! We respect a woman's right to choose. Why not respect a man's right to choose whether or not a doctor has the right to "alter" his body ? Taking the choice away from men by deciding for them without their consent is Discrimination and a violation of rights in my book. Let every male grow to adulthood intact, thank you very much. Once he's grown up, he can choose whether or not to change his body. The choice is up to him, as it should be.
Thank you very much !!!!

Circumcised & Trying to undo it

Hey all, My first post!! Anywho, As per routine, as a newborn i was circumcised, From 12 i knew what a forskin was, and what it did, and since then have wished to be "Uncut". So i am taking steps to get back SOME of the natural function, but its a LONG LONG process. Damn the social pressure to cut of an important part of the penile structure, because it looks "cleaner"
Anywho, thought I'd add my two cents!!

Y'know, waaay back when I was still a cute little n00blet I would rave on and on about the double standard of circumcision, but then I realized how futile and boring it was for the most part. Like most other topics, you probably won't sway anyone to your side of the debate who wasn't on the fence already. Not that that's a reason not to debate things, just something to keep in mind.

Anyway, I call it my Schmutz period.

I'm an uncircumcised bisexual male who is seeing another uncut bi-guy. Maybe we should start a club and show support to organizations trying to pass legislation against circumcision of baby boys.

I didn't know there were any.

Circumcision for some IS necessary.

I could't retract before the op - meaning I couldn't wash properly. Also, partners could easily hurt me because of the tight foreskin.

Furthermore, sex and particulary masturbation have been greatly enhanced since becoming circumcised.

To operate on minors BEFORE they experience any problems is a different matter, but don't condemn those who have it done for legitimate medical reasons - Phimosis in my case.

Getting a circumcision was definitely the right decision for me. In fact, I should have had it done years ago. I have no regrets whatsoever and I am thoroughly enjoying my new state.

I will admit that uncircumsized guys have prettier heads as they are shiny. I suppose it also gives some guys more to play with.

Nevertheless, smegma is GROSS. Parmesean cheese belongs on Italian food -- not on private parts. The smell of it is also repulsive. I remember the first time I ran into an uncircumsized guy. He pulled the head back and I thought he had dead tiny insects or something -- especially given the smell. I swear I felt like throwing up it was so gross.

I should mention that I've seen this more than once on uncirsumsized guys. It wasn't limited to guys that were poor, homeless, lacking access to water, etc. It was pretty random. This first guy was a traveling sales man with a coat & tie on...

I have nothing against uncircumsized guys who can keep it clean, but if they don't it is just as gross as someone who doesn't use toilet paper. I don't know how long it takes to form smegma. It cannot be too rapid otherwise ALL uncut guys would have problems and that isn't the case.

Bottom line: If I had sons, I wouldn't hesitate at all to have them circumsized. There are just too many guys who don't spend a lot of time cleaning and grooming. Might as well have one less thing to for them to worry about. As to having a choice, that is just silly. To me that is like complaining that your parents didn't let you choose what your belly button looks like.

Uncircumcised is how nature made men. That's how they should remain. :nana:

I agree and I think it's funny the uncut guys are the ones making such a noise about circumcision.

I'm cut and have never given a thought to my unnatural deformity lol. Jesus Fucking Christ there is so much more to worry about in this world than if a man still has intact his ability to make that crumbed, stinky cheesy shit around the head of his cock to make his partners ill...bleeeeeeeckkhhh

(oh and no uncut guy ever thinks his cock stinks lol)

NOTHING on this earth smells like an uncut cock that isn't washed properly.

God gave us brains to invent surgical tools, to allow us circumcisions. :nana:

But Mother Nature sometimes gets it wrong.

The men who are against circumcision have obviously never experienced any problems. The anti-circumcision lobby need to learn about conditions such as Phimosis.

The anti-crowd would soon take a different view if they personally suffered with Phimosis as I did. Getting circumcised was the best thing I ever did.

Those against really need to speak to men who have had the op done for a genuine, medical reason. I guarantee they would be far less vocal after listening to those who fully understand what a fantastic difference it makes.

The op COMPLETELY cured my problem so why folk are so against is beyond me.

As one in the anti-circumcision camp, I have to say I do know about phimosis. My son had it. We treated it with topical steroids--COMPLETE CURE--no circumcision was necessary. We told him the options and he became quite diligent about applying the steroids.

I am not a radical though. If someone elects to have themselves circumcised, that's their choice. Certainly, if a circumcision is truly medically necessary, no reasonable person could object.

I do question the practice of routinely circumcising infant boys. If someone asks, I'll give my point of view and reasons and leave it at that.

Uh, ever heard of Mothers Against Circumcision ? Plenty of women prefer their sons to be uncut, and they actually prefer their husbands/boyfriends to be that way too. Yes, a lot of women do care about Men's Health.

It's just not really an issue here in Australia. I have never heard anyone talk about it here, seriously.

Have you ever seen a cock with so much smegma under the foreskin it looks like crumbled fetta cheese and it actually falls in chunks from the cock? The stench is stomach turning.

I don't like the way this debate demonizes those who are cut or see nothing wrong with it. It always seems to be conducted in a self-righteous fashion by parties outside the realm of relevance.

I guess you could liken it to the way men for years, told women what they could and couldn't do with their bodies’ regards abortion etc.

I really could care less about the issue. It's such a NON issue. I'm reacting largely to the rhetoric, which is ignorant at best, and the insulting quasi-elitist discourse.

I find it quietly amusing that it's always un-cut guys, women or some whinging retard who claims to be psychologically scared from his infant circumcision pushing at the front lines.

I'm with LoboBoy. Folk are getting worked up about nothing.

If we want to be cut that's our prerogative. There have been nothing but positives since my op - no negatives at all. The very tight foreskin doesn't hurt me now, I can wash with ease, sexual activity has been enhanced, and I even think my appearance has improved.

It's great that versatile1's son was able to avoid surgery through the use of steroids, but my Phimosis was too severe for that to have any effect.

I don't agree with the routine circumcision of infants either - if a male isn't experiencing problems there's no need for surgery.

However, live and let live - if a man wants the op done for purely cosmetic reasons that's also up to him.

My procedure was performed by the National Health Service, not privately. Do you really think they would have operated on me if they felt the circumcision wasn't necessary?

It sure is, and for some people it can be a medical neccessity. I however wasn't given the choice, neither are alot of men and thats just plain wrong. Personally I would like to have those extra nerve endings back and to have a more sensitive glans. We don't tattoo or pierce our children at birth, when circumcision is for cosmetics it should be left up to the individual being operated on to chose. I don't see how anyone could argue against that.
