but if that's impossible, clean it, don't use scented stuff, use odor neutralizing stuff, mop the walls, wash everything you can, febreze everything you can't, vacuum the carpet, and you should be pretty good.

The guy smoked.

Nagchampa and Sandal Wood

(it's wood floors, thank god)

What's TSP?

They smoked in this house too... that stale smell that covers everything dude... smoking in a house is stupid unless the smoker is willing to clean up when they leave.pinkstarfish said:It's not me... It's one room of the house we're moving in to.

i hated the smell of this house, i'm still doing my cleaning and re-filling the smell in the air.
that's the only way i've ever really found to get teh smell completely out is to take the smell out of everything and replace it with your own smell.
_geisha_ said:I always like Nag Champa or Lavender. Those two smells seemed to really clean up the smells, really neutralize the smoke smell.
SaintPeter said:One thing for sure is smoking a cigar. That will cover up the nasty ciggy smoke.
pinkstarfish said:Not for that.
Outside you go!
