I've tried to comb the library and run searches but didn't come up with much.

So, if anyone has any experiences, advises, tips, warnings, ideas, both for play and after play care and so on to share, please do so.

Thank you

:rose:

As for myself, I don't have any real experience, beside being accidentally burned on my upper arm with a cigarette when I was a kid (it didn't leave any permanent scar at all). And getting to feel the heat of a cigar (without direct contact) on my pinky bits few days ago ...

As for me, I smoke occasionally. And such comes the risks of little pieces of the "cherry" coming off and landing on your fingers, arms, chest, ect. They usually don't stay lit for more than half a second. But during that time it gives me a little shiver. I guess I'm slightly maso...Never had any experience as a couple playing. But of course as for safty goes. It is playing with things at high temperatures. Cigarettes burn at this heat, and cigars somewhat higher.
Temperature without drawing:
Side of the lit portion: 400 deg C (or 752 deg F)
Middle of the lit portion: 580 deg C (or 1112 deg F)
Temperature during drawing:
Middle of the lit portion: 700 deg C (or 1292 deg F)

Now of course if your using the little embers like what happens to me(all accidentally, never on purpose), The heat drastically decreases by the time it hits the skin. For my experience, usually a fall of about 3 inches to 12 inches. Put put more safty factor for you. A bic lighter, the hottest part of it, can cause a blistor or second degree burn on the skin in 2 seconds of constant being heated. Now you can stop the blistering by administrating cold ice water to the burn, that and burn cream. Happy playing.

Additional information: As for play and after play. For play, unless your partner is seriously maso, I wouldn't actually touch him/her with the actual "cherry" especially because of the fact that at that temperture, it will either cause him/her a second to third degree burn, which you really don't want. Or mabey you do. :) I would suggest, based on my owned experience, push the head of the cigar/cigarette into an ashtray to slightly break up the "cherry" and make it less stable. Tap the cigarette/cigar one or twice over the ashtray to remove the most of it, then bring it over your partners body were you want it to be applyed and "flick" it over them. the embers will fall down and hit them. I would suggest for slight maso's a fall of about 8 inches. For medium about 4 inches. And maso's well into it about 1-2 inches. But for that be carefull do to the fact that you could accidentally hit them with the cigar/cigarette while flicking it. That could cause the "cherry" to burst on their skin and go all over the place. Which could cause 2nd degree burns and blistering. But then agian, you and your partner might want that...So.

As to after care. I'll go ahead and post something I got from another website which is from a pharmacy type site. Good professional information. Along with some personal. Hopefully that helped you. As for personal, I use neosporin, for the burns and to prevent infection. Also if you by chance have an aloe vera plant, a nice plump one. It is amazing for burns, you can just pluck one of the stems off the plant, break it open, and squeeze it directly onto the burns. Its amazing for it. I have also used bagbalm for a second degree burn once, it eased the pain and irritation of the burn, but if left on to long, you get the sensation of increased tingling, which on a burn is painful. Now for the expert. Types of burns
---------------

First degree - burns are usually bright red or pink, are extremely painful and sensitive to the touch, and are usually accompanied by blistering. These types of burns can be caused by any number of heat sources, including the sun, scalds and direct heat sources, and can usually be safely and successfully treated at home.

Second degree - burns penetrate deeper and damage a thicker portion of the epidermal layers. They usually appear lumpy or mottled, with a white or yellowish center, surrounded by pink or red skin. This type of burn may be treated at home so long as they are fairly small, and do not develop infection.

Third degree - burns destroy all of the skin tissue, including nerves, and are characterized by numbness instead of pain. These types of burns must be treated immediately and by a physician.

How to treat them
------------------

Immediate care - if possible place the area under cold, running, water, or apply an icepack or cloth soaked in cold water. Tylenol and icepacks may help reduce the swelling and pain associated with burns.

Cleaning - wash the area by scrubbing lightly with a clean washcloth and a gentle soap like ivory. This will promote faster healing by removing the dead and damaged skin cells, allowing the healthy tissue below to grow. If blisters are present, do not burst them.

Bandages - though not always necessary, will protect the wound from potentially infectious germs and the sun, and are reccomended if the wound is in a particularily vulnerable area. Supplies can be purchased at your local pharmacy or grocery store. Apply a sterile guaze pad to the freshly cleaned area, and secure with medical tape, tensor bandages or a guaze wrap. Bandages should be changed twice a day, and the burn should be well cleaned before application.

Ointments - using an ointment or cream after cleaning your burn, and before applying a bandage, will help stop alot of the itching associated with burns, as well as prevent the bandage from embedding itself into your healing skin and promote faster healing time with minimal scarring. Johnson & Johnson makes an excellent burn cream, but gentle lotions (like Nivea), vitamin E creams, aloe gels and other such products will also work well.

Lifestyle - getting plenty of sleep and eating a healthy diet that consists of fruits, vegetables and proteins will encourage rapid healing by fueling the body with the nutrients and minerals it needs to heal.

What to look out for
---------------------

Infection - if at any point you develop a high fever, an considerable change in the pain or sensitivity of the wound (a sharp increase in pain or sudden numbness), thick yellow or greenish discharge (a clear watery type discharge is alright, however, it is called weeping, and is a normal part of the healing process), you may be developping an infection. See a doctor immediately.

I hope this has helped you and any others that are already into this or thinking about it. All my wishes.

Also I just thought of something, don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. For play, you can also just tease the cigar/cigarette near the skin by about 1/2 cm for a touch of heat you can feel it. and about 1/4-1/5 of a cm or about the thickness of a pencil tip away from the skin for a slight burning sensation. Now it will burn the skin slightly of course, but not even 1st degree, it dosn't feel like pain to say, something different, like right before pain. I just rolled a cig and tried it on myself for the discription. You need a stead hand though to be able to "drag" it across the skin. Now I tried it on my hand and arm. Arm has slight less resistance to the heat sensation. So if your using it on the erotic parts of the body, I would start at about a cm from the skin and work it down slowly. Hope this update helps.

Depends what experience you mean. We have played with it a couple of times with him burning me with a cigarette, and also the flame of the lighter. The damage was not serious enough to need much care. I would imagine it depends how much is going to be done, how your skin reacts and then treating it as you would any burn making sure to keep it clean and free of infection.

Thank you for all the info!
I was actually wondering about the burning temperatures and I was surprised how high they are.

As for the additional play info, that is the way I experience it: from a short distance, barely brushing the skin. The pain is definitely there, but no burn mark left.

Thank you.

Any kind of information is welcome!

How did you play? Did F stumped the cigarette on you? Where? Did it leave a scar?

My skin heals pretty fast and I rarely get a sunburn. Often get cooking burnd on my fingers and arms (I'm clumsy that way ) and even the last one that caused a huge blister (I'd say something between 1st and 2nd degree) is almost totally gone 2 weeks later.

thanks :rose:

If it blistered at all it was a second degree burn. Also, what you might want to consider when playing just to help you more. Is get the cigar/cigarette really close to the skin, now it should be close but not touching. Leave it there for about 2-3 seconds. It won't cause a burn/blister, but it will singe the hair there, and for the good part, it leaves a slight tingling/very light pain that will last a couple of minutes. If I can get a photo up I will, to try and show you what I mean. Mabey tomarrow.

thank you again NervousGuy :)

Yes, the close but not touching is the way I experienced the play. The area didn't have any hair left to singe, but it did actually leave a little bit of redness/tingle longer than a couple of minutes, without any longer term reminder.

It is still quite the shock when the heat hit and a total mind-fuck if you cannot really see what is going on.

i've wondered about being punished with cigarette burns for a long time. i like it when Dominance and control are so much a part of Him that he just naturally uses whatever is handy to maintain authority. If He were a smoker a cigarette would be a very good motivator.

As for being punished by a cigar/cigarette it could work out as a very effective punishment indeed. But as before, its something you would need to be very causious about. That would be something I would suggest you put as a hard line thing with any new Dom/Top/PYT. I'm just trying to find a way that it could be used as an effective punishment, without at least a mild second degree burn. Of course that way, it would be a constant reminder for a few days about what you did wrong. Not a punishment you could forget soon, for it would still be on your body and visible and feelable days later. But on a last note. I would never suggest actually pressing the cigar/cigarette into the skin which could cause 3rd degree burns. Even if your an extreme maso, would you really want to not be able to feel anything in that spot ever agian because the heat was so intense it fried all that skins areas ability to feel? Goes agianst the point a little dosn't it? Ah, just my two sence all.

I only smoke on very rare occasion, so I don’t know much about this as I can count my cigars on one hand. However I have noticed that cigars can burn back quite a bit with the ash staying on the end. Ash is a poor heat conductant, so theoretically you should be able to place the burning end on skin, as long as you don’t press it in and crush the ash to expose the ember.

In theory that is.

As for safety, water to douse any burn would be handy to have.

Very true I forgot about the ash's on the end of a cigar, which can build up to quite an extensive length. I'm trying to think of the right length the ash should be if you were to touch it to someones skin. That way they could get the heat and the slight burn, but nothing actually damaging. Hmm, I'll go out and buy a cigar later and experiment. Will report back in then.

Thank you for your input.

Pressing a cigarette/cigar on the skin to extinguish it definitely does not sound like a good idea. On the other head playing with brushing the thick ashed tip and the mind fuck of what if he does press it into me is sounding really hot

oh yes i and my sub slut have great fun though i dont burn her like that she loves the idea and gets very wet in her pussy and excited just by me teasing her with my ciggy - i sometime use a candle wax to punish her but she just laughs as she gets pleasure
xxxx

I don't smoke and I don't allow cigarettes here, but sparklers are an interesting replacement. And if you are bold enough, you can easily make your own ones in different shapes, for example, as a spiral (perfect for attaching to a nipple clamp). I wouldn't recommend skin contact over the whole length though, but just the last half inch, while the rest should hover a bit over the skin - the countdown to pain.

Cigarette in cum slit

My former Mistress Victoria from Houston loved inserting the smokey filter tip of her Mores 120 into my cum hole. She would force nearly half the Mores into me..then masturbate my cock till I ejaculated. The "Mores " plug kept 98% of my
juice in me..till she removed the cigarette with her 2 inch nails.. then .my jizz would bubble out in thick clots and my orgasm always was very intense.

Vicky always made me lick my cum off her finger's and the filter..then she would
finish off her cigarette.

Really miss that nasty bitch...
