A good chunk of my threads are on a personal wiki not open to the public. This is where I do my writing of new threads. My earliest threads are all text files on my home machine.Zingiber said:It didn't stop the authors, though. A valiant author reimplemented Chyoo on his own, and the regulars were getting ready to move their stories over to the new site. And then Literotica revived Chyoo and appointed some regulars as moderators, and the action came back here.
I suppose if it happens again someone might revive it elsewhere. But maybe we, the story editors, should figure out a good mechanism for backing up our stories. I've got most of my threads as text documents, but I don't have my stories in linked story form.
