So, someone just needs to figure out how to organize the 'story' and create it. I'm having trouble wrapping my head around how to do this, but here are my thoughts anyway.

Each top-level thread would be for a different story, with lots of "More Stories" links that keep cascading. Each storyline (a series of threads) could consist of a story synopsis, followed by four sub-threads for Cast, Settings, Notes, etc., with each sub-thread leading back either to the Introduction or to the original storyline thread.

Another way to organize this would be to have Genre headings first, and then stories.

Other thoughts?

well the guy who start the thread can pull the more then 4 thread trick

basicly you write a thread, press page back, write another one, keep doing till you have multiple thread

maybe in each General, space for Authors

maybe the intro can have updates with little maps to tell you where differnt part of info are.

maps, drawn or not, links to drawing of there people
but pretty sure someone smart can work this out

Hmm, why not add several Digests? There are 21 different genres at Chyoo, which could mean something like 5-6 digests (Non-english and Non-erotic getting their own ones), each covering several similar genres. Then just add links to them from the FAQ.
I mean, let's face it: the story map only works so far, and once you reach 20 threads in one line, it starts getting real messy. This would hopefully prevent that.

I'm not totally clear on what the purpose of this is. It sounds to me like you're aiming for a kind of "meta-Chyoo," and I can't see the prudence.

I am also a little confused on the topic. If I understand it right you're wanting some kind of listings where you get a basic symposis of the story, a character list and the writers? I just don't see much of a need for this, as you can search the chyoo site for stories.

that author can make. It up to the author. Notes on thread, to keep up continuty and all that

Each story should have a message board thread. At the bottom of the page, next to 'Report This Thread', there should be a hyperlink to the message board thread.
