Long time no see. Where've you been?

Howdy Ms. Myst.

Well lets see. I have been here, there and everywhere lately. Actually I have been working on some special projects at work and out of town alot on the weekends. So I have not had much time to post. Today is the first day I have had to just "unwind" a bit in over a month or two.

Working hard. Enjoying seeing family. Taking some time for me. I went to the mountains a week or so ago and had a nice relaxing time, though it was infested with work junk (company trip so to speak) and did some hiking. Turkeyday was at my house, had my parents here, sister and her hubby, me and my SO. Parents left mid morning, S/O left at same time to goto Charleston (for an engagement party........) so it is just me left to my devices tonight. :D

I am just chillin like a villian. Enjoying doing nothing that I don't feel like doing.

How you? It has been a while...........;)

and Hey I am coming up on 3000 posts...........:D :p

Fine, thank you. Busy, as well with 2 jobs and 2 practicums for field experience in school. One more year, and it should all be worth the effort. I stayed home for Thanksgiving, but sent everyone else away to see my ancient family members. I had to work, but I haven't actually spent Thanksgiving with anyone for several years now, so it was kind of nice to have a quite week at home with the cats (the little bastardos). I'm going to engagement party, myself. Jodessa (one of my favorite people in the whole world) is getting married, and she's so happy, it makes ME glow! My art is coming together nicely, I must have hit a creative peak because I can't seem to stop drawing or painting. Drop by the Kitchenette if you want to see all the marker drawings I've been unintentionally getting high from. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time with art dealers here (too conservative). They think my work is too erotic/hardcore. Funny, but I don't see it that way. Oh well.... been corresponding with an artist in NYC, former guitarist for some political band who seems genuinely interested in some of my pieces. So, if all goes well, I might have some great strings to pull.

And congratulations on your 3,000 posts. You're officially an "oldie."

Well I am glad to hear that things are good with you. It is special when someone who is so close gets married ain't it? I mean, I am one of the few in my group of friends who is not currently married. Of course, been there, done that. Not in any hurry to do it at this very moment, but I will someday.

Your artwork is probably too much for them. Probably would hear the same thing here as well. They are way way way too conservative and chicken poop to try and put it up.

Sounds as if it is all starting to come together for you. I am glad to hear it. Hard work pays off, eventually. I just forgot to do the hard work part!!! (Not really but for jokes sake.........)

I can well understand the needing of some quiet time and what I like to call "me" time. I needed it a bit and got it. I am just in need of some "blah" time. Regen some, relax some and fuck off a while..........know what I mean?

I actually got some things done that have needed to have been done a while ago..........not very big things but "things" that have just been pushed and pushed back further and further.

I am sure that your art will go over well, the trick is just finding the right outlet for it.

 ;)
