Magna Aegwynn
Aegwynn watched as Nielas packed his backpack and farewelled his horse. At least he was clever enough not to bother arguing with her. Something similar had happened with one of her previous possible suitors and he had spent the better part of an hour trying to negotiate bringing his horse along. When Lairana trotted off between the trees Aegwynn turned and resumed her travel.
"Let us tread where the clever steed does not wish to." Aegwynn said as she walked.
The path quickly changed from the murky forest of Duskwood to the tall ridges and rock walls of the Deadwind Pass. Judging by the trees and vegetation they had just left one could be fooled into thinking that they were on lower ground, but as the rocks grew taller and taller around them Aegqynn knew that it would mean that they were nearing a mountain pass that was miles and miles deep. The wind became chillier in the pass as well, and every slight whisper that played with Aegwynn's hair and caressed her face held with it a subtle yet chilling hint of dark things to come.
