Christmas programs at school!!

One particular moment comes to mind. Picture this. I am on the stage, playing the part of a mom in our community xmas show. I can't remember the skit really, but I do remember this part very well. I went to sit down on a chair and the chair leg was too close to the edge of the stage. Guess where I went? Yep, down, down, all the way down to the floor in front of the whole crowd. Boy, did I feel silly afterwards, but it did end up being the highlight of the evening. Leave it to me eh?

KitKat

I always had a hard time getting to WitchsKat's programs. I tried, but there was at least one I missed. They were pretty forgettable, too (NOT WitchsKat, but the programs).

When I was young, I had a voice in the range heard only by dogs. I sang descant for years, so it took a long time to actually learn the melody of various songs.

By the way -- are you very excited Luscious Lioness? You ended every single sentence with an exclamation point.

Lifes embarassing moments....

During my "Christmas Concert" in grade 1 I did a reading from the Book of Luke and although I sounded like Linus Van Pelt from Peanuts it went well.

Then looking in to the audience I saw my mum, dad, grandmother and my grandfather recording me on his trusty home movie camera. As I was exiting the stage he began gesturing to me to wave. Concentrating on the "photo op" and waving and not where I was going I promptly walked off the stage ...... literaly. I fell about 4 feet in to the highly decorated christmas tree imediatly to the left of the stairs, rolling to a stop at our vice-principals feet.

A memory preserved for ever on 8mm film. Merry ho-ho
