Since when did Christmas come directly after Halloween? I practice a little thing called Thanksgiving around here.

Oh well, stores do it to.

Just bugs me.

Oh yeah..

Thanksgiving.. that's the day I turn on my Christmas lights.. *nods* and the day before "The busiest day of the year" for the shopping malls... :D
 
please correct me if i am wrong but doesnt Thanksgiving open up the Christmas shopping season in the U.S.? i seem to recall a while back reading that is why the American Thanksgiving is in November after FDR (?) signed a bill of some sort.

btw, i used to love seeing the Macy Thanksgiving Parade on the television. OH, almost forgot....Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends on Lit.

Yes, we all frantically rush out at 4am the day after Thanksgiving and stand in line like idiots waiting for stores to open, trying to snatch up the best bargains...

My sister stood in line at the wrong store for an hour one year..we never let her forget it.:)
