There very well could be, it would be just with their husbands. I'm thinking perhaps the women form a Godly Wife study group at church and begin to open up more about the importance of outward appearance, attracting their husbands, sex tips, beauty tips....etc. Hope that helps lol !

I see this getting very Stepford Wives with such deliciously religious overtones. Trad wife is an increasingly popular kink and this would dive right into it.

Maybe the surprise at the end is the demonic influence guiding it all. It's hard to keep kids out of this though so incest would be easy to do and Oedipus complexes as a result of mother's suddenly getting wickedly hot.

To keep it incest free, perhaps create a fictional Bible chapter that lays out a wives duties, even to include her husbands brothers. Also what defines brother? Brother's in blood or Godly Brothers?

I rather like the demonic idea though so perhaps the pastors wife is a succubus and uses her influence to lead others to sin in the name of God. What's the line about the devil being able to quote scripture to suit his needs?

There are lots of ways it could go. The wives get prettified, so they

• Get lots of attention, from mostly men not their husbands. A subset like it, their hubbies mostly ignore them, and they're tempted. And fall.
  • Some of the husbands are ignoring their beautiful wives because they're unfaithful themselves.
  • Some (one?) are uninterested in the wives because they're secretly gay. They can "function" with a woman, but they desire men. This leads into
• Two of the wives find each other irresistible.
• The Evil Pastor convinces the women it's their holy duty to lie with him, the polygamous patriarch of the place. The men are mostly compliant, but one or two are furious.
