I've started reading a new novel by Anne Rice. Yes, the same gifted lady who brought us The Vampire Chronicles, New Tales of the Vampires and Lives of the Mayfair Witches.

It's called Christ Our Lord : Out of Egypt

This new fiction novel is about the early life of Jesus Christ. I've only begun it but Anne Rice makes him out to be so human,
full of doubt and fear, yet gifted with super powers that I can't wait to get through it.

I don't know. I've just started reading it. It's good, though. JC comes off more as Smallville ( a story about a kid with a powerful and distant father figure growing up with super powers and a special destiny to help mankind) than as a divinity. He's human. He's got doubts. He's discovering his powers. He has to hide them from the ordinary humans around him. He's scared sometimes. He knows pain. He worries about his mom and adoptive father. He deals with bullies. He's very believable, and human.

Ann Rice Christ story

Ann has written a fictional story about Christ. Everything she says is based on her or someone elses imagination. There was no suspicion about Jesus paternity durring his lifetime. The story of the virgin birth etc. was added years after his death, borrowed from another religion. Read Ann's story for good fiction, don't try to learn historical facts from it.

Well gypsywitch, the word virgin in the bible is a misstranslation of the old word, since it really ment maiden, and not virgin. And maiden in the term of a young woman.
my source to all that info is Mark Goodaere (a religion researcher) from the BBC documentary. So I believe, that JC was a humanist, and his DNA was human all the way, and no devine DNA in that. and Mary/Maria fled with Joseph, since they fled from gossip, that JC was a whores child , because she wasn´t married to the Roman soldier. And Joseph took Mary under his protecting wing. Damn I love when I mention sources since then you can´t attack me on that
