Fox News says civil libertarians, eat your hearts out- Children's safety comes first.

GPS tracking wristwatches on your children, GPS tracking blackbox in your children's car, and cameras watching as they play.

Good idea?

Do you think you should destroy your children's privacy so they can be safe? Do you not trust your children so that you'll put a tracker on your car? Do you believe that you'll be the only one watching them? Do you believe that Shepard Smith is a collosal fag (The answer is yes. There are hookers that wear less makeup).

We can speed up the process of tracking kids if we do a tag and release program.

I think it's a stupid idea.
First anyone who wants to snatch up a child will find a way to remove the 'watch'
or worse, they'll just cut the childs hand off so no one can find the body.

You're an idiot.

The "watch" can have several protective features on it. An lcd screen to show authorized persons to pick the child up, an alarm to prevent it from being taken off. A gps alarm if the child goes out of a 100meter radius.

Chopping off the hand. You need therapy. Very few sicko's resort to mutilation.

The technology is there, however privacy concerns and responsible use will come into debate.

Yes and no.

It is being used in some cities on criminals.

It should be a means to track people as a way to protect society. (criminals)

It should be allowed for use by parents. (if they want)

It should not be made mandatory for all.

Responsible use.

Get your child an X-box or PSX2 in their room and you'll always know where they are....

Tell that to the girl who was raped and had both her arms chopped off and left to die. Some how she survived.
Tell that also to Adams father of 'Most Wanted' Remembering his son had his head cut off.

I don't need therapy you jerk.

hmmm well you can microchip pets so that they can be tracked and found... why not put it on old people with dementia?

makes sense really.

now as for children.... of course chip them.. its the only way to be sure where they are at all times

Do you really need to know where they are at all times?

That's pretty much true. Except for the Xbox.. then you have to worry about them getting inside the thing and getting lost because it's huge.
