PRIVACY is key.

There has been talk from a few people about "bringing so and so along" to the Litogether. We need everyone to realize that this is for Litsters. A spouse or significant other is fine but other outsiders are NOT allowed. This has been the standard rule since the first Litogether. If there is a friend you wish to attend the party they must join Lit and start posting, posting, posting. We all need the opportunity to get to know them a little before the Litogether. It is every attendees right to feel comfortable with the people that are attending.

PRIVACY is key.

Also, it was brought up in the past that some Litsters were giving out the hotel information to other Litsters. NOT good. This is private information that will be given out only by sweetsubsarahh or myself once each Litster has confirmed attendance and PAID the FEE. We understand everyone wanting to meet the people they post with, but again, this is not an open party for everyone to drop by. It's not a free-for-all college party. We are renting the space for the party - two hotel rooms and the large meeting room for three separate nights - and it does cost. Additionally, the organizers are responsible for damage, for too much noise, for possible under-age people attending and drinking, etc. We take this very seriously.

Our goal is to protect our guests. PRIVACY is key. We need your cooperation for this to happen. If you have any questions about either of these issues please feel free to contact sweetsubsarahh or myself.

If you cannot abide by these rules, dear Lit-folk, I know pleaz has a new riding crop she is dying to use. No, wait - that's mine!

It's also been discussed that because of too much oversharing we may have to change the location of next year's event (which sucks ass, because I really love this location). We'll see what happens. The rules aren't difficult to follow. We just need to stay focused.

Seriously folks, we're not here to be bitchy. We're here to protect our guests and ourselves. Sweetsubsarahh and I are responsible if anything goes wrong and we prefer when the party flows smoothly. If you have questions, come to us. We don't bite hard enough to leave permanent marks. ;)

Eight weeks until the party means six weeks to get reservation info in and party fees paid!
 
A bump for the lovely ladies that are working so hard to organize this.

Also, a few people were asking questions, what is it, how much, when, etc. So I thought I'd bump.

:)
