Cheesy Ass Romantic Comedies

I am *not* a fan of romantic comedies. Normally I hate them. But there are a few that are guilty pleasures.

Mine is Say Anything. And of course that has nothing to do with the fact that I'd let John Cusack do whatever he liked to my body. ;)

What's your favorite romantic comedy?

Say Anything is wonderful. I am trying to think of one I like better, and I really can't.

Say Anything is definitely up there. I also love Fools Rush In. Better Off Dead is more comic than romantic, but I just have to mention that that movie is one of my all-times faves. :)

Not comedy but...

If I see Richard Gere and Julia Roberts make another fucking 'chick flick' I'm gonna fucking throw up on both of them!

God that shit get's old quick. YUCK!

I'm all with you on Say Anything....another John Cusack, remember "The Sure Thing?"

That kid has been in some fun movies.

Guiltiest romantic comedy pleasure? About Last Night...though I'm not sure that constitutes a comedy, I feel guilty just thinking about it.

I don't feel guilty about Say Anything.

Say Anything is excellent!

I enjoyed " American Dreamer" , starring Jo Beth Williams & Tom Conti& set in Paris, but I think it's equally an adventure, much like "Romancing The Stone".

How about one of Cameron Crowe's other pictures, "Singles"? I love Kyrra Sedgewick's eyes.

I remember "The Sure Thing" They had an unusual way of drinking beer & I thought it was cool that he knew constellations & she knew mythology.

1. Say Anything-Cusack's my favorite!
2. Some Kind of Wonderful.
3. Pretty in Pink.

Okay, this is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, but does anyone else remember "Weird Science"?

Did anyone else laugh?

Anyone?

OmyGod! I loved Weird Science. I'm such a wanna be geek.

Weird Science... hell yeah, I loved that movie. And with a soundtrack by Oingo Boingo, just doesn't get much better!

My soster and I constantly quote lines from Weird Science- I don't think you can get any geekier than that. :)

Fight Club. Hey, they hold hands at the end. That's romantic.

It was a lot of fun. It wasn't the bottom of the barrel. Probably
Kelly LeBrock's best appearance.

1. Some kind of wonderful : is probably one of my all time favorite movies. I think I even cried when I first saw it - I was all happy they got together. :)

2. Sixteen candles : is also another favorite, I like the end where he is out side waiting for her @ the church - and then when they are on top of the table & they kiss ! :D

3. Dirty Dancing : I know its not a "comedy" but how I love that movie. My room mate & I used to watch it all the time instead of studying for our finals. I love when he says " No one keeps Baby in a corner"... :) ;) :p
