I actually am not a big fan of cheese ... but brie topped with pear, wrapped in philo and baked is a rather nice treat.

and the cheesiest movie of the 80s is ....?

That's a bit of a mountainous task. Bukaroo Banzai, Real Genius, Remo Williams, Comando, Running Man... And those are just three I can think of that I own the DVD to. There are tons of cheesy 80s movies. I'm overwhelmed tryng to think of more.

Saganaki

1 lb. soft Kasseri or Kofalotiri cheese
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 lemon (juice)
2 tbsp. brandy

Cut cheese into slices 1/4 inch thick. Place on broiler pan and brush with melted butter. Broil on high 4 to 6 inches from heat until cheese bubbles. Remove from heat. Pour brandy over cheese and ignite immediately.

Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve with bread. Opa!

Oh my yes.

I love Cheese, I live on cheese. All kinds of cheese.

One of my favorites is good German Style Hand Cheese with onions on dark bread. (You can't buy it around here so I had to learn how to make my own.)

heh ... so says the woman with the Mighty Isis AV.

That's right, honey. ;) Isis was actually from the 70s though.

Let's all have cheese and wine and watch an 80s movie. My vote is for "Moonstruck."
