Cheering Up The Mutt

Greetings fellow poets!

I realize that it's been a while since I've been active on the poetry thread. Somehow reality is interfering with my fantasy world. I hate it when that happens. But that is not why I'm posting today.

My dear sweet Mutt has been down in the dumps lately. He needs a little positive energy sent his way. Most of you know that his stories and poems are fabulous. And if you don't know it, please take a moment to read some of his best:

No can do, O. When Mutt plunges into the dumps he usually emerges with poetry that takes my breath away. I'm too selfish to cheer him up when I know he is going to produce something that extraordinary.

Besides, who could stay depressed when they've got someone like you doing something like this?

Ohhh, Miss O!! What a doll you are!

Mutt! Whats up, dollboy? You can't be down in the dumps! That job belongs to me and Echoes! You have to join our Union. And you bein a guy and all, the dues could be rough!

Start a thread- The DogHouse... write what you have- let us see. Do more Denizens! Those are awesome- (and Miss O did NOT pay me to say this!) You have excellent insight into others psyches and you wrote up my neighbors and drinking buddies!

Dark times can be good times, though. Fly's right. Theres no telling what will come out of you when you emerge. Just hang in, baby. We're all here for you.

My kid saw the pic and wanted to know what was going on. I said it was a vet with a sick animal. Hey, first thing that popped into my mind. Actually, it looks like one of my cousins.
