“Um..bonobos are known to engage in intercourse to alleviate social tensions, while chimpanzees are more likely to show aggression. I can see comparisons to our society..”
“Can you elaborate?”
“Um, I’m not sure it’s appropriate for the classroom..”
“Alright, anyone else have any input? James.............”

After class..
“Dr. Carter, I was wondering if you could give me a copy of the article you discussed last class.”
“Sure Janie, I have a copy in my office, walk with me..”
“Great Dr. Mason”
“Call me John. So what couldn’t you elaborate on in class today?”

There's a lot that you could do with a set up like this. The obvious thing would be to continue the story where this academic discussion between teacher and student becomes very personal and very intimate as they explore primate/human interactions with each other to try to better understand why primates do these things and how it affects them. Of course things could easily get way out of control.

Another thing you could do would be a role play where you set up the story and them find a partner to write back and forth with to see where it leads you.

If you don't think it will be something you'll finish, you could create some snippets of a story where the reader is left to imagine what came before and what happened after the snippet. This could be like a cartoon panel some people put on T-shirts where you only get to see a few images and lines of dialogue, but you are still able to get some good impact from the small amount that you see.

I like where you're going with it

roleplay might be best for this story
not only is the male a professor, but also dominant; two roles that are difficult for me to understand or relate their perspective
...and writing it myself is like trying to dominate myself and it just doesn't work
 
Lovely images...and I do love the idea of illustrated stories.

I've been thinking of doing the same, although I'm not sure Lit is the best place for it; I don't know that with any absolution. Just a guess at the moment.
