Seeing the ways that people can gradually rationalize behavior in very small baby steps to eventually end up doing something they'd never have initially been okay with... I don't know, something about it is so interesting to me. So very long, drawn out stories where a woman is initially completely and utterly devoted to her relationship and is very, VERY gradually worn down by an attractive, masculine stud so that by the end of the story she's like addicted to sneaking off and fucking him...

It's interesting to me that being on the side of the "cheated on" party is so much more popular. It would seem natural for me for more people to fantasize about being in a "superior" position, taking someone else's woman, than in the position of the person having their woman taken from them. You're right about the way cheating and cuckolding so often get blurred. I'd fine-tune your definition of cuckolding by saying that it doesn't necessarily mean that the man is 'completely willing.' Admittedly in the current usage, that willingness is usually there. But in the traditional usage, that so-called (willing) cuckold is actually a wittol. A cuckold, in traditional usage, may or may not have known of her infidelity, but, either way, had no choice in the matter. Hence the humiliation that is still attached to the cuckold word—in those elder days, a man was less than a man if he couldn't satisfy and control his wife. So, if he couldn't, he was subject to scorn and humiliation. Her act of cheating was by its own nature an act of emasculation.

It sounds like a digression, I know, but where I was going with it is just that the distinction between cheating and (traditional) cuckolding is even narrower than you define.

My impression from women I've talked to and women I've read both here and elsewhere is that there is a huge rush in doing the forbidden, and getting away with it—a sexual rush and an adrenaline rush mingled into one. Yes, you're spot on there. I'd actually prefer if people stuck closer to the way those terms were traditionally used, because then cuckold porn might be a lot more similar to the stuff I like. That's definitely something I like a lot about seeing women cheat: that excitement and rush at the infidelity. I've never cheated personally, honestly just because my emotional investment in girls I've dated has always outweighed any desire I've had for that rush or for another girl. Just as far as adrenaline rushes go, sex aside, I can totally empathize there. I'm in college now, and one of the things I miss most about high school (I went to a boarding high school) was getting to sneak off campus to go get drunk or smoke or whatever. OFC partying with my friends was awesome, but one of the most fun parts to me was having to finesse the rules, you know? It was a super strict school, so sneaking off campus at night was a lot harder than it sounds.
