Not cheap, but same day delivery when you haven't planned ahead and good quality stuff.

The cheapest way is to search the internet for a flower shop close to your mom and call them directly. Order flowers over the phone and pay with credit card. You'll get more flowers for less if you give them discretion as to what to put together and just give them a dollar amount that you want to spend.

Actually... I recommend staying away from online florists if cost is an issue. The best way to send flowers on a budget is to go to www.yellowpages.com (or another directory site) and look up a florist in that area. Give 'em a call and set something up.

That way you save $$ and you support the local florists.

Actually I was looking for a place to get ahold of local businesses. I work part time a day or two a week for a florist and our shit is pretty expensive more so if your sending out of town.

I think they also have a web page. I've used the phone number but not the web page. They contact a place that is local to the recipient and have them deliver the flowers for you.

It usually cost extra to have them contact someone though from my experince working with the florist. I just ordered the small flower baskett for under 35.00 to be delivered to my other friday. I asked them to puts lots of purple and yellow in it cuz thats what she likes Guess I'm in a nice mood or something....
Anyways I just used the first place I called that was in the same city as my mom in georgia.
