I've never done it, though these boards must be very close to it, if not the same thing.

Are yahoo groups chat? People email feedback, and invite me to join a turkish gay group, or ask whether I use MSN or Yahoo [don't know what this is].

Curious, but doubtful I will ever get around to 'chatting' seriously. What do other people think about it? Or am I the only one without ten different identities?

msn or yahoo are messengers where you can chat one on one or have group chats with people.

Hello mysterious lady! I was wondering when you would appear on the boards

I use AOL Chat and ICQ to keep in conatact with friends and family. For us it works out well, although there is something to be said about hearing a voice, or even better seeing the person in person. (I do Video Chat with some of them.) The best part of it for me is most of them live more than two days drive away from where I live. With chat we can communicate rather easily.
