Chat thread for "The Shrunken":
This thread is a place for the current writers to discuss the roleplay. If you are not a current writer but would like to be, please see this thread.
So, I'm thinking that when we -- the current writers -- have something to say that applies to most or all of the other writers, we can say it here rather than in PMs. Sound good?
Okay, so let me start. I've created two primary characters thus far, one the chief scientist and one a random student in another building who was within the range of the incident's effect.
I'm going to create two more characters, the CEO of the company who was not at the labs and a delivery girl who was; the former wasn't shrunk but the latter was. The CEO doesn't have anyone to interact with, but that's okay for now. The delivery girl is going to interact with Jon Gordenson, who was just posted for this morning.
Regarding interactions, even though most of the characters will "pair up" in the beginning, there is no reason why they can't swap pairings or create groups as time goes on.
Also, there can be any number of secondary characters who are only posted for occasionally and/or post for a short time and are never heard from again. However, let's not toss too many characters in all at once. Might be good for you all to give me a heads up when you have a new character idea. I will almost always okay such characters, so long as they fit in the ongoing story, obviously.
I'm very open to new ideas, so long as we stick with the original premise, which is: the incident happens; the company tries to keep it quiet by gathering up and constraining the Shrunken; and some of the Shrunken live free. That's about as structured as this is right now.
